
CONSTRUCTION OF PMW PROPERTY NEW HEADQUARTERS
Back in January 2022 the construction of our new bespoke headquarters was well underway with an expected completion date of March 2022. Well, we have now been in our ‘new’ offices for nearly 3 years and what super and exceptional offices they are. All the team at PMW Property are very happy in the new spectacular office space. The whole site consists of three units, of which we have two for the business. The third unit is let to an orthopaedic vets practise, which we discuss in another article on our web site.
Mike Wrigley now leads the family-run commercial property together with his daughter Victoria Wrigley and his son Matthew Wrigley who are now becoming the mainstay of the company. The family-run business is ran from our bespoke offices that they built on Stirling Business Park in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. This is an ideal location from which to manage the property portfolio with sites across the Midlands in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire.
As we are a local family business in our hometown of Ashbourne, we like to use local businesses and contractors wherever possible. We used Jack Crooks from J A Crooks Building & Property Maintenance for the building work, Tippers of Ashbourne for the products and – the well-known in Ashbourne – George Ditchfield from D G Ditchfield Limited for the groundworks, we also used other local companies as the build progressed to completion. Our project manager Matthew Woodward of CJO Consultants put together the interior design of the offices along with Matthew and Victoria Wrigley, “this was the fun part of the project” and a very good job they did too!
The permitted operating hours of the site are 07.00 – 19.00 Monday to Saturday, with no operations on Sundays or Bank Holidays, there is no plant or HGV movement allowed into or on the site outside these hours. This means that the site is user-friendly to the local residents of Ashbourne and the surrounding villages when they wish to visit the team at PMW Property.
